Anyone trying to build a website from scratch would need a Content Management System (CMS) and the options lying there in the open include WordPress, Joomla and Drupal.

The 3 CMS options have more than their share of similarities. WordPress appears to be leading with 57% share of all CMS Platforms with Joomla contributing with 7% share and Drupal with 4% share of all websites. Though it may seem that WordPress is king of all CMS Platforms, nonetheless Joomla and Drupal have various aspects that WordPress is lagging behind in.
